My wife Deanna and I stayed at Fisheating Creek last weekend and stayed in one of the campers available at the campground. Brenda and Monte run the place and do an excellent job at it! We went kayaking on the creek and it was extremely beautiful with all of the extra rain we've been getting in FL this year. The creek path is great because you become enveloped in old Cypress trees with spanish moss and have to meander through these little paths and it is very intimate. The one and only bad thing about the trip was the locals on their outboard powered ghanoes. They were driving too fast and came too close to us on a few occasions. Other than that, this little place is just awesome. THANKS AGAIN TO BRENDA AND MONTE!!! WE WILL BE BACK! D&d

Thanks, Franco, for telling us your experiences on Fisheating Creek. Sounds like you and your son had a fine trip on that old, wild Florida waterway. The information about water depth with regard to portaging and swimming is especially helpful. And, as always here in wild Florida, "Mr. Gator" is somewhere around. We hope to hear from you again.
